Mission

To serve as responsible interface between the industry and the Government and between Industry and Research Institutions / Universities / Farming Community / NGOs.

To identify / highlight the benefits of agrochemicals to the Government and public at large and build a responsible industry image.

To participate and effectively contribute in the policy decision-making process pertaining to regulatory issues, imports, exports, tariffs among others.

Encouraging industry members to adopt global standards of SHE / GMP / GLP / ISO in manufacturing.

To improve quality of distribution and extending judicious use of products through training and promoting Agri-Clinics.

To provide a reliable data bank of statistics related to demand and supply, crop production, legislation, imports and exports and other useful data pertaining to crop protection industry through its appreciably developed in-house library resources.

To support use of agrochemicals within the ambit of sustainable agriculture and support activities for protection of crops and households from ravages of pests, weeds, rodents and diseases.
